Invitation:
Dear Sir or Madam,
The DISRUPT project is at the forefront of combating technology-facilitated trafficking of human beings (THB), with a particular focus on the use of digital evidence in countering child trafficking for sexual exploitation.
In this context, this DISRUPT national capacity building event seeks to strengthen participants' knowledge of digital evidence in THB investigations, with a special focus on identifying and developing solutions which combine technological innovation, legal and policy instruments as well as enhanced collaboration mechanisms among various categories of national and international stakeholders.
Additionally, the event will address some of the most challenging aspects of combating child trafficking, including:
Identifying Technology-Facilitated Child Trafficking
Understanding the international trends and policies on THB
Exploring new ways of detection and disrupting technology facilitated trafficking through OSINT
Fostering operative and strategic exchange between security actors and non-security actors who provide victim support, ensuring that these efforts remain victim-centric and human rights compliant
Finally, the event will focus on raising awareness about the DISRUPT project’s outcomes and promoting good practices across the EU, including the DISRUPT Manual on using digital evidence on combating child trafficking.
Through thematic inputs, dynamic dialogue, and interactive sessions the event aims to foster meaningful discussions about future directions in the fight against technology-facilitated trafficking.
We look forward to welcoming you to the DISRUPT national capacity building event.
Please register for the event by sending an email to hannah.reiter@vicesse.eu.
The event will be held in German and English language.
