New Publication: The Controversy About Risks and Threats in Artificial Intelligence

Reinhard Kreissl and Roger von Laufenberg published a new contribution which examines the risks and threats of AI, particularly by contrasting the core differences of human intelligence and machine intelligence, as well as the major discourses of AI and human intelligence in society. The publication is the outcome of the project “KI. Mensch. Gesellschaft – KIMeGe” and an extended version of the web article Risiken und Gefahren der „Künstlichen“ „Intelligenz“. The contribution is part of the edited volume Artificial Intelligence in Society – Social, Political and Cultural Implications of a Technological Innovation by Michael Heinlein and Norbert Huchler and is available for purchase/download here: https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-658-45708-2
