IMPRODOVA: Final Conference held on the 09.06.2021

The IMPRODOVA final conference "Improving Frontline Responses to High Impact Domestic Violence" (IMPRODOVA@IPVI) was held online on 09 June 2021. All 16 IMPROROVA partners presented the project results. The IMPRODOVA consortium represents eight European countries (AU, FR, FI, GE, HU, PT, SC, SL), as well as both academdia and practitioners. The final confernce took place in conjunction with IPVI. As such, it aims to contribute to the theme of the annual meeting by highlighting social and cultural perspectives on interventions in cases of domestic abuse and violence.

The final conference was started off with a key note speach by Albin Dearing from the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights on „why Interagency cooperation is needed to tackle high impact domestic abuse“. Afterwards, the project results of the Policy Developement Module, the Integration Module of Risk Assessment, the National Response Platfrom Pilot and the Training Platform were presented. The participants were given the chance to inquire about specific information. Addtionaly, discussions and networking opportunities werw set up during the five Break-out sessions on Policies, Data, Risk Assessment, Training and Best practice of inter- and intra-agency cooperation. Finally, a short statements by representatives of the project partner countries via the European Echo rounded off the informative and successful conference.
