CEPOL: Variance in European legislation to fight domestic violence
Paul Herbinger, Marion Neunkirchner and Norbert Leonhardmair have published a paper on the value of analysing the differences in national implementations of international legislation to fight domestic violence. Their paper European Legislation to Fight Domestic Violence in the current issue of the Cepol Bulletin discusses some preliminary findings of the IMPRODOVA-Project, while showcasing an analytical approach employed therein. Beyond the binary of compliance and non-compliance, our researchers make the argument for a close study of variance in the translations of international legislation to national level.
