As part of the AlgoCare project, we co-organized the 2024 Annual Meeting of the Socio-Gerontechnology Network, which was successfully held on the 19th and 20th of September 2024 at the Technical University of Vienna (AT).  

Centring around the theme "Shifting Relations: Ageing in a Datafied World", the conference featured contributions from critical scholars in the social sciences and humanities, exploring the intersection of ageing and technology through presentations, posters and a workshop. 

Key findings from the AlgoCare project were shared by each project partner in the session “Fair algorithms, fair care? Navigating bias and trustworthiness in AI for later life”.
