VICESSE is happy to announce four additions to the team! The additions include three former Team members returning to work at VICESSE, as well as one brand-new face.

The first one to re-join is Victoria Kontrus, who will be back to work on the topic of algorithms and artificial intelligence. Her projects will include the FairAlgos Project. The second person we are welcoming back is Angelika Adensamer. With her expertise on STS, legal studies, and surveillance, she will work on, amongst other things, the POLIPA project. The third person to return is Matthäus Vobruba. Matthäus Vobruba’s focus is on digital humanities, economic relations and foreign policy. He will be a valuable contribution to VICESSE’s research and administrative work.

Lastly, Anna Lavalley is interning at VICESSE as a part of the Illinois in Vienna – Vienna Plus Internship. She will be contributing and partaking on research into Artificial Intelligence, its societal use and its implications.
